VISIT CAMPUS TELL ME MORE Professor John Rowe's ecology class ventures outside the classroom to study a local conservation park. Students relax in hammocks outside President Abernathy's house -- a popular hammocking spot. Hammocks are available for rental at the Stone Recreation Center. The Starbucks on campus is a great place to study, meet, or even hold class! The Wright-Leppien Opera House, located in downtown Alma, offers apartment style living with compete kitchens and private bedrooms. With Alma's average class size of 18 students, there are more opportunities to ask questions, contribute to discussions, and form connections with professors. Study buddies come in all shapes and sizes! Therapy dogs and cats often make an appearance during exam week to provide support and fun. Students take a study break in Hamilton Commons and grab lunch from My Zone, an allergen and dietary restriction friendly spot that serves dairy free, gluten free, and nut free options! Hamilton Commons International Club members meet near Highland Java, Alma's student-run coffee shop, in the library. Goal for the Alma Scots!
